Wireless Networks Bids, who is the biggest Bidder?

Today the news about the 700 MHZ spectrum in the US has been very hot. Some people does not care about that... but what is the real benefit for all the masses?

Well let me explain it in simple words... what we are now watching is the birthday of an OPEN NETWORK, what does this mean?

For the users or consumers of WiFi, WiMax or even Celular Networks it is a revolution where they will be able to have very much services that will make their life easy or complicated (this depends on the user). So, the Biggest Bidder has not won this time, the winners are the consumers.

For the Celular Companies that has been squezing our pockets and wallets it means one thing: GIVE A BETTER SERVICE OR PERISH!

And who is the father of this revolution that will come to USA and the rest of the world eventually, of course it is GOOGLE! Google made the $4.6 Billion bid that turned on the Open Network, no mather who will win the auction... so THANK YOU GOOGLE!

The effects of an open network will be felt by millions of people whether they know it or not.
